Heroic Action: Hundreds of Dogs Rescued in China

Biggest life-saving news here! Caring souls in Chinese have made history by saving 580 dogs from being slaughtered.

About 200 volunteers, more precisely our heroes, in China have saved 580 dogs from being slaughtered and eaten away as the heroes stopped a truck carrying the dogs in miserable conditions on a Beijing highway. The animal lovers negotiated with the truck driver and paid over 17000 dollars for freeing the dogs.

A number of the dogs, which were being transported torturously to slaughterhouses, were then taken by the volunteers for treatment at an animal hospital in Beijing. Dogs that were not hurt so much were move to a safe place where the volunteers will care for them.

This incident tells how the Chinese, when they come to take action for good, act as wonderful heroes. It is being regarded as a sign of new hope for the otherwise insensitive Chinese culture with respect to animals.

So here go the hats off to our Chinese heroes!

  1. 'A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step'. It is heartwarming to know there are people who care about animals in China especially when they have been seen in such a bad light due to the demand they provide for animal parts. May there be more good news like this. The volunteers risked a great deal by their valiant act in rescuing the canines; out of compassion and love. It is truly commendable...
