Weezer, the Smiling Dog, Needs Donations for Immediate Treatment

One of the most compassionate and active animal rights activists, Larisa Scharikin has fallen in need of support from animal lovers, particularly dog lovers as her dear pet dog Weezer has got seriously ill. Weezer, the smiling dog, has been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition called acute pancreatitis. In her latest Facebook post, Larisa told:

Just dropped off Weezer lunch. The X-ray showed a gas pocket. If when they take another X-ray, it has not moved, then they can suspect an obstruction and not what appears to be a gas pocket. Also, her blood work shows that her pancreas is still flooding her body with enzymes. They recommend giving her blood plasma as this is known to ease inflammation. Paws crossed. Praying the Grants also come through!

Currently, under treatment, Weezer needs more tests and medication, and hence more financial support for Larisa is getting strained financially for this sudden attack of a disease that has already brought along a great emotional challenge for the owner—a person who untiringly devotes her time to protecting animals, particularly dogs, against cruelty, neglect, and abuse.

This blog is a public appeal to all caring souls to donate to help Larisa with Weezer’s treatment by donating as much or little as possible. At the moment, Weezer’s medical expenses need around 1500 dollars till the end of the week. Please click on the chipin below to donate to Weezer’s treatment.

On behalf of Larisa Scharikin, thank you all!
