Post Adoption Calls for Endangered Animals
In the course of saving animals from death in shelters and animal control facilities, it is important to get the availability of animals for adoption publicized as widely as possible. Those having blogs and social media pages can do a tremendous service by sparing a little time daily to post some short animal adoption calls (provided by the shelter) online. In this regard, I got the following message from a Facebook friend’s wall.
Would you consider posting/cross-posting dogs/cats at PCAC in Cedartown Ga? We are one county over from FCAC in Rome Ga. We posts dogs and cats on PetFinder right now but only have one volunteer doing pictures a few hours a week - so a lot never make it on. They also kill them very quickly (they sometimes don't hold them the legal hold time - commissioners don't care) so it is hard to get pictures and get them posted quick enough. I think if we had more exposure that might help.
Thanks,
Jeanie Waddell
