Harmless Dog labeled ‘Dangerous’ Languishing in Canadian Shelter
In America, Prada is fighting for her life against the abuse of authorities. In Canada, it is Brindi – a harmless dog that is being targeted by the animal control in Halifax for over 3 years. Now, she is languishing both physically and psychologically and needs immediate release for her life to be safe and recover from extended imprisonment.
As her story goes, Brindi was arbitrarily labeled dangerous by the Halifax Regional Municipality in 2008. After repeated appeals by her owner, she was once released in 2010 on certain conditions but soon after that was again picked after animal control following an incident with another dog in which no significant harm was done. They want to put Brindi down again.
Meanwhile, Brindi is languishing in the animal control facility, and it is urgently required for her recovery to be released and given in care of her owner. The emotional toil of imprisonment on her health alone is pushing her into the dark pit of death. Supporters of Brindi have started an online petition to request the authorities for Brindi’s release.
Please sign the petition online and share with all animal supporters for this innocent dog’s life which is being usurped without any justification.
Thank you!
